Drooping Eyelids

If you suffer from drooping eyelids that interfere with your vision, or puffiness and bags under the eyes that make you look worn out and tired, Quinlan Eye Center can help. Ask us about the benefits of bilateral upper lid blepharoplasty (BULB) – surgery that corrects problems with the eyelid, including eyelid growths.

Eyelid Surgery

The BULB eye lift procedure treats ptosis by tightening skin around tired-looking eyes, helping you see more clearly and giving you a younger, more refreshed appearance that lasts for years to come. BULB surgery corrects drooping eyelids and is performed as an outpatient procedure with a carbon dioxide (CO2) laser. You may be given anesthesia, and recovery is generally complete in a few days. BULB patients generally experience less bruising and scarring than those who are treated with traditional methods of blepharoplasty. However, as a precaution, patients should avoid sun exposure for six weeks following the procedure.
